About CCC
Caribbean Coast Conservancy is a non-profit institution that seeks to have an impact on biodiversity conservation and the processes that determine it, along the coastal wetlands of the Caribbean.
Through the support of programs based on research, education and management of these ecosystems, we provide knowledge, leadership, inspiration and accompaniment for the sustainable development of natural resources in coastal communities, with a solid base of scientific information, which facilitates their adaptation. , resistance and resilience to climate change, fostering alliances between organizations, people and countries, using the Caribbean Flamingo as a symbol.

Scientific banding workshop at the Biological Station "Komchén de los Pájaros" in Dzemul Yucatan, a Private Protected Area belonging to the Caribbean Coast Conservancy, a partner of Yucatan Bird Observatory. Six expert banders from England, one from Spain and one from Mexico attended as instructors.
