T<\/span>he non-profit organizations need resources to carry out their undertakings designed to benefit society. Donations represent a fundamental element for the development of programs and projects. They are financed mainly through two channels: public and private initiatives. In the case of public funds, they are granted through subsidies from the different administrations -local, regional, state or international-. Private funding either comes from companies concerned with social change and others that come from individuals through one-time or recurring donations or by leaving their inheritance or legacy. In the situation of financial crisis caused by global events in recent years, it is increasingly difficult and competitive to obtain these resources.
